Creative Activities

We offer a wide range of fun and educational creative activities for all ages and abilities, beginner to advanced, autism friendly environment:

  • Printmaking  -silk screen, paper lithography, monotype, etching, engraving, collagraph, relief wood / linoleum cuts by hand-printing or press prints

  • Drawing and Painting / Composition  -studio, outdoors, still life, landscape, life drawing, water colour, gouache, acrylic mediums, natural pigments, mixed media, collage

  • Fabric Art  -textile construction, surface decoration, natural dyes, garment design and manufacture, costumes & masks,  3D Installation

  • Physical Theatre, Circus & Movement Arts  -beginner to advanced solo dance trapeze, Poi / Staff / Hoop  Flow training, Pilates, yoga, strength and flexibility development, Acrobalance, stilt walking and buffoonery!

  • Book binding and artist's book creation - make your own book or series, hard case, perfect bound, concertina, pamphlets, coptic binding and more

  • Other local artist's workshops -  natural wax candle making, willow weaving and sculpture, pressed flower collage, ceramics, creative writing, wood carving, garment pattern cutting and tailoring, digital and stop motion animation, photography, green woodwork, loom weaving, felting, jewellery design and silver smithing, stained glass, traditional music, creative Forest School and more...

A wide range of tools, equipment and materials can be included in the bespoke activity cost, contact us with any enquiry.

 

Small groups (max. 4 people) or one-to-one tuition can be provided, we offer traditional teaching styles to participant-led learning support.

 

Use of the Corn Mill Studio, aerial training rig (outdoor and indoor) or large heated dance / performance space (in the village hall opposite the venue) for self-directed creative development is possible by prior arrangement without accommodation or as part of a package, contact us to find out more.
